The Dutch Baka - I really wish this blog was updated more, unfortunately it's owner seems to be quite busy. It's a really good and informative blog, although updates are not very frequent :(.

I really enjoy reading your blog, i learned so much about Japan! (like pachinko and what melon pan is like, haha). And it seems like you get to go to many different places/schools? I thought you were only there for exchange to study, no?

As for your comment on my site, ya, i guess textbook would be the way to go for standard japanese. As long as I have a bit of background in distinguishing it, I suppose it'll be fine (i hope.) And definitely to make friends, I gotta speak their dialect! Anyway, I'll see where they end up placing me..
